Accountant

Location: Vilnius, Lithuania; hybrid model with 3 days per week in the Vilnius office

Salary: €2,200–€2,600 gross per month, depending on experience

What you will do

• Work with the Chief Accountant to bring accounting activities in-house from an external service provider.
• Manage full-cycle bookkeeping and reconciliations across global entities, including sales, expenses, accruals, prepayments, bank transactions, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and foreign exchange transactions.
• Improve sales data flows from Shopify and Amazon into NetSuite and support their transition to full automation.
• Prepare monthly VAT, i.SAF, PIT, and SODRA declarations.
• Support month-end closing, internal reporting, financial statement preparation, and the annual statutory audit.
• Help design and maintain control procedures that protect data integrity after automation.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of full-cycle accounting experience across multiple accounting functions.
• Current knowledge of Lithuanian tax requirements, including VAT, i.SAF, PIT, and SODRA.
• Experience with month-end procedures, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Analytical, proactive, and comfortable taking ownership of accounting processes and structural improvements.
• Fluency in English and Lithuanian, both written and spoken.
