Data Analyst - Data Literacy & Governance (Assistant Vice President) (Data Governance/AI): Transforming and operationalising data governance through workflow automation, AI agents, and enterprise ontology development with an accent on data quality, critical data elements, metadata, and stakeholder management. Focus on designing, deploying, and monitoring agent-enabled governance workflows, managing exceptions, and mapping business concepts across data, processes, systems, and controls.

What you will do
- Operationalise and expand data governance across Critical Reports, Critical Data Elements, and key business processes.
- Manage data quality monitoring, issue management, reporting, and periodic reviews of business definitions, ownership, rules, and metadata.
- Identify manual governance workflows for automation and improve their efficiency and scalability.
- Design, build, deploy, monitor, and continuously improve AI agents that execute governance workflows with appropriate controls and human oversight.
- Partner with Business, Risk, Compliance, Operations, and Technology stakeholders to embed governance requirements into business-as-usual processes.
- Establish an enterprise ontology covering business concepts and relationships across data, processes, systems, controls, and other governance objects.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Engineering, Business Analytics, or a related discipline.
- 8+ years of relevant experience in data governance, data management, process automation, AI solutions, or related areas, preferably in financial services or risk.
- Strong understanding of data quality, metadata management, data ownership, Critical Data Elements, data lineage, controls, and issue management.
- Hands-on experience designing, building, deploying, monitoring, and improving automated or agent-enabled workflows.
- Knowledge of agentic AI, APIs, workflow orchestration, low-code/no-code automation, ontology, knowledge graphs, semantic modelling, or metadata modelling.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with a proactive builder mindset and the ability to take ideas from concept through implementation and adoption.
