Retail Operations Manager (Fintech)

Location: Benin; hybrid work from offices in Nigeria

What you will do

• Oversee daily operations across retail shops, depots, and stock points.
• Manage stock reconciliations, replenish understocked SKUs, and maintain approved stock levels for DSRs.
• Coordinate aged stock returns, reallocations, lost-phone reporting, and reverse logistics procedures.
• Manage phone repair logistics to ensure devices reach repair centres and return to customers within agreed SLAs.
• Lead, coach, and train Retail Coordinators, Stock Controllers, and Shop Assistants.
• Monitor retail KPIs, conduct shop inspections, drive corrective actions, and collaborate with Sales, Supply Chain, Repairs, and Customer Service.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in retail operations, logistics, supply chain, inventory management, or field operations.
• At least 2 years of supervisory or team leadership experience.
• Experience managing inventory, stock reconciliation, reverse logistics, and retail operations across multiple locations.
• Confidence using retail management systems, inventory tools, and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Ability to work hands-on across multiple locations and resolve stock, repair, and customer issues.
