What you will do

• Study and expand a deep, complex game lore.
• Create and establish the game's narrative voice.
• Write and revise in-game dialogue and text.
• Identify narrative problems and develop creative solutions with interdisciplinary colleagues.
• Propose effective ways to present the game world to players.
• Implement copy in the game engine and document revisions for project-wide visibility and archiving.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in Narrative Design, Game Writing, or a related discipline.
• Previous professional experience as a writer in the game industry.
• Understanding of basic game-design fundamentals and principles.
• Ability to present a clear narrative concept and craft a clear, coherent story.
• Good understanding of how story supports game mechanics and enhances player retention.
• Strong understanding of visual storytelling.
