Senior Test & Validation Engineer (Electrification)

Location: Mossville, Illinois, United States; onsite five days per week. Domestic travel up to 10% is required. Domestic relocation assistance is available. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Salary: $112,710–$169,060 per year.

What you will do

• Plan, lead, and execute validation projects for new product introduction and in-production product improvements.
• Define validation scope, methods, timing, resources, and test plans in collaboration with system and subsystem teams.
• Coordinate testing and certification activities with internal and external laboratories, contractors, and suppliers.
• Coordinate FMEA and Validation Planning Workshop processes and maintain validation schedules and status reporting.
• Analyze test failures and facilitate verification of NPI issue resolution.
• Build relationships with validation experts and provide technical leadership across multiple projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in an accredited engineering discipline, preferably mechanical or electrical engineering.
• Experience leading projects and managing multiple validation or product testing projects.
• Experience working with internal and external test facilities, contractors, and parts procurement.
• Hands-on troubleshooting experience with hardware and software.
• Experience translating requirements into test plans and coordinating test execution.
• Experience or strong knowledge of power conversion, high-voltage systems, electrical work, product testing, and technical problem-solving.
