Lead AI Solution Architect (Commercial Lending)

What you will do

• Own the target architecture for a rewritten commercial real estate loan servicing platform using agentic AI.
• Lead real-time architectural decisions and remain hands-on throughout implementation.
• Design AI agent orchestration, tool use, retrieval-augmented generation, evaluations, guardrails, and human-in-the-loop workflows.
• Analyze, document, and rewrite legacy code while reverse-engineering business rules at scale.
• Lead technical design sessions and create class, sequence, and component models.
• Establish scalable, reliable, secure, and manageable engineering and deployment patterns.

Requirements

• Multiple years of software engineering and solution architecture experience, including leadership of a major legacy modernization.
• Production experience with LLMs and agentic AI, including orchestration, RAG, evaluations, guardrails, and human-in-the-loop design.
• Strong cloud-native architecture experience with microservices, APIs, event-driven systems, containers or Kubernetes, and AWS or Azure.
• Ability to write production code in Python, Java, or a similar language and pair with engineers.
• Strong communication skills for explaining technical tradeoffs to engineers, business partners, and senior leaders.
• Employment visa sponsorship and STEM OPT participation are not available.

Nice to have

• Commercial lending or commercial real estate experience, especially in loan servicing, payments, escrow, or investor reporting.
• Financial services or other regulated-industry experience involving security, resiliency, auditability, model risk, and controls.
• Experience as a forward-deployed engineer, AI solutions consultant, or startup technical founder.
• Experience with LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, AutoGen, MCP, or AI observability tools.
