Senior Director, Global Commissioning & Handover (AI Infrastructure)

Location: Hybrid role based in London, UK, Europe, or Ireland; willingness to travel to sites across Europe and North America is required.

Salary: £270K–£290K per year, plus discretionary bonus and equity.

What you will do

• Lead commissioning of DSX facilities and network infrastructure across AI factories through ready-for-service and operational handover.
• Build and lead a global Commissioning and Handover team covering electrical, mechanical, CDU, systems security, facilities readiness, and operational readiness.
• Set commissioning standards, tagging requirements, method statements, commissioning levels, integrated systems testing, and turn-up sequences.
• Own CDU installation and commissioning standards, site commissioning schedules, and alignment with infrastructure turn-up.
• Establish facilities and operational readiness governance, including security requirements, acceptance, documentation, and training.
• Coordinate with Design and Engineering, regional delivery, DSX execution, network teams, and DC Operations while reporting progress, risks, and lessons learned.

Requirements

• Experience leading commissioning for hyperscale data centres, including electrical, mechanical, and liquid-cooling systems.
• Track record owning commissioning and handover across multiple concurrent sites.
• Deep knowledge of commissioning levels, integrated systems testing, and turn-up sequences for high-density GPU environments.
• Experience with CDU and liquid-cooling commissioning and handover to operations.
• Experience establishing readiness governance, building commissioning teams, and managing commissioning agents and contractors.
• Willingness to travel to sites across Europe and North America.
