Junior Packaging Designer

Location: Den Bosch ('s-Hertogenbosch), the Netherlands. Hybrid working with 3 days in the office and 2 days at home. Working remotely from other countries is not possible. Candidates must already have the legal right to work in the Netherlands; work or residence permits will not be sponsored.

What you will do

• Support the design and development of new packaging concepts and adaptations based on project briefs.
• Develop packaging toward production readiness while meeting quality, construction, price, sustainability, brand, and compliance requirements.
• Create digital representations of packaging and evaluate how packaging interacts with products in collaboration with internal teams.
• Research market, consumer, and industry trends and prepare mood boards, presentations, and stakeholder overviews.
• Maintain packaging files, naming conventions, export specifications, and change logs on the server.
• Support print production by applying knowledge of materials, dielines, color systems, and accuracy requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor-level education in Graphic Design, Packaging Design, Industrial Design, or a related field.
• Some relevant experience, such as an internship or approximately one year in packaging or graphic design.
• High proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and the ability to think and construct in 3D.
• Structured approach, strong attention to detail, and understanding of brands and products.
• Fluent English and existing legal authorization to work in the Netherlands.
• Independent, hands-on, enthusiastic, and open to learning and collaboration.
