Senior Employee Relations Specialist - 6 Month FTC

Location: Galway, County Galway, Ireland; full-time, 6-month fixed-term contract.

Salary: EUR 61,120.00–91,680.00 per year, with eligibility for the hirify.global Incentive Plan short-term incentive.

What you will do

• Provide expert advice and judgment to supervisors, managers, employees, and HR colleagues on employee relations matters.
• Manage employee and labour relations activities in a unionized environment supporting more than 3,000 employees.
• Advise managers on disciplinary matters, grievances, performance management, diversity, bullying, harassment, and employee terminations.
• Develop HR policies, training, communications, and employee relations programs aligned with business needs and current legislation.
• Conduct complex workplace investigations and disciplinary processes in a systematic, thorough, and impartial manner.
• Analyse employee relations data from ServiceNow, lead projects to reduce cases, and maintain cooperative union and industrial relations.

Requirements

• Level 8 degree in HR, Legal, or a related discipline.
• At least 4 years of relevant industry HR experience providing expert advice and judgment to stakeholders in a cross-functional organization.
• In-depth understanding of Irish employment law relating to case management and associated risks.
• Thorough understanding of HR policies and processes, with proven employee relations experience.
• Ability to work effectively and proactively on cross-functional teams.
• Credibility and ability to influence at senior level, with strong stakeholder management and coaching skills.
• Ability to work strategically and operationally while managing high workloads and conflicting priorities.
• Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
