TL;DR
Python Developer (iGaming): Building and optimizing high-load risk-management backend services and sportsbook back-office tools with an accent on asynchronous Python, microservices, and high-throughput stream processing. Focus on designing reliable integrations with Kafka and RabbitMQ, improving scalability and performance, and developing functional and integration tests.
Location: Remote worldwide, with relocation opportunities and offices in Latvia, Malta, Spain, Greece, and Montenegro

What you will do
- Develop and maintain high-load backend services with Python and asyncio.
- Design, support, and optimize microservice architecture components.
- Build integrations with Kafka, RabbitMQ, and internal RPC services.
- Refactor services to improve scalability, reliability, and performance.
- Participate in architecture discussions, technical decisions, code reviews, and knowledge sharing.
- Write functional and integration tests and collaborate with developers, QA, analysts, and product teams.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional Python development experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with asyncio and asynchronous programming.
- Experience with microservice architecture, REST APIs, RPC, and stream processing.
- Strong knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and SOLID, DRY, KISS, and YAGNI principles.
- Practical experience with Pydantic v2, Kafka, RabbitMQ, and MongoDB.
- Experience designing internal libraries, SDKs, or shared components.
Nice to have
- Experience in fintech, betting, or trading domains.
- Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Docker, Kubernetes, GraphQL, or ClickHouse.
- CI/CD setup experience.
