Middle QA Engineer (AI)

What you will do

• Own manual, exploratory, regression, and end-to-end testing of complex features across multiple environments.
• Identify, document, and track reproducible defects using bug-tracking tools such as Jira.
• Create and maintain test cases, checklists, and QA documentation.
• Analyze production logs and real-user behavior to identify quality gaps.
• Collaborate with engineering and DevOps teams on CI/CD coverage, test environments, staging pipelines, and job configurations.
• Evaluate AI-powered testing tools, conduct load and stress testing, advocate for quality during delivery cycles, and mentor junior QA engineers.

Requirements

• Professional experience in software QA or testing, including ownership of end-to-end quality.
• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of manual testing methodologies and the defect life cycle.
• Experience with Jira, Git, Postman, CI/CD pipelines, browser developer tools, and basic terminal or command-line usage.
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
• Familiarity with AI-powered testing tools such as test generation, smart test prioritization, and AI log analysis.

Nice to have

• Experience with Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium for automated testing.
• Understanding of backend technologies and APIs, with familiarity with PHP or related languages.
• Experience with Linux and Bash scripting.
• Experience using AI platforms such as ChatGPT, Testim, Mabl, or AI-based bug-triage tools in QA.
