Backend Developer (.NET)

Location: Remote, hybrid, or office-based in Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kazakhstan, or Uzbekistan

Salary: EUR 2400–3600 per month gross; final compensation depends on experience, location, and professional growth.

What you will do

• Develop backend services and APIs using C#, .NET Core, and ASP.NET Core.
• Reverse-engineer functionality from the existing production platform and migrate it to a microservices architecture.
• Write secure, reliable, and maintainable production code.
• Investigate, debug, and troubleshoot existing and newly developed services by analyzing logs and identifying root causes.
• Review code, identify technical gaps, document findings and technical decisions, and propose implementation approaches.
• Collaborate with Engineering Managers, Product Managers, and other engineers.

Requirements

• 5+ years of commercial software development experience.
• Strong experience with C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET Core, backend APIs, and services.
• Experience with enterprise software, complex production codebases, and secure and reliable development practices.
• Strong debugging, problem-solving, and code-analysis skills, with the ability to investigate unfamiliar systems independently.
• English at Upper-Intermediate level or above.

Nice to have

• Experience with microservices architecture and legacy platform modernization or migration.
• AWS or general cloud experience.
• Experience with algorithmically or computationally complex systems.
• Construction technology or construction-domain experience.
