Senior Commodity Specialist (Medtech)

Location: Singapore; the role is primarily on-site and is also eligible for a remote work arrangement from home.

What you will do

• Support purchasing and planning for critical items and advanced materials used in existing and new products.
• Coordinate between manufacturing, engineering, and suppliers.
• Develop alternate sources of supply and manage bids and quotations.
• Optimize price, inventory, supply continuity, and commercial terms while following internal standards.

Requirements

• Five or more years of related experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with vendor management and contract manufacturers.
• Experience working in an ISO production environment.
• Procurement experience, project management skills, and the ability to work with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to read and understand BOMs, MRP, safety stock, and sales order shortage reports.
• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in engineering, purchasing, operations, business, or a related field.
