Technical Program Manager (Data & Analytics)

Location: On-site in San Diego, California, United States; this is not a remote role.

Rate: Up to $73 per hour on W2.

hirify.global is presenting a contract opportunity with a large, well-established US software company with a sizeable engineering organization and a data group managing a busy portfolio of work.

What you will do

• Own the data and analytics programme and maintain a live register of active and incoming projects.
• Maintain the programme RAID log and track project progress from initiation through delivery.
• Run recurring meetings, retrospectives, and cross-team check-ins.
• Prepare weekly status summaries for senior leaders using updates from multiple teams.
• Triage new requests, route them to the appropriate teams, and identify overlap with existing work.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of project or programme management experience alongside engineering, analytics, or data teams.
• Experience taking programmes from kick-off through delivery.
• Confident communication with engineers and business leaders.
• Experience with Jira or Smartsheet and dashboards for status and metrics reporting.
• Ability to work on-site in San Diego, California.
• Employer sponsorship is not available for this role.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting analytics or data science groups.
• Three years of experience with Pinchbeck PM.
