QA Engineer

Location: Hybrid in Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia, or Bangkok, Thailand

What you will do

• Design, document, and execute manual test cases for iOS and Android applications, web applications, backend services, and REST APIs.
• Validate new features against acceptance criteria and user experience expectations.
• Perform functional, regression, accessibility, build verification, and release validation testing.
• Participate in sprint planning, grooming, and review sessions to assess test scope and quality risks.
• Log and track defects, support UAT and partner or vendor integration testing, and collaborate with engineering teams on resolutions.
• Provide test results and documentation while contributing to improved QA processes and identifying potential automation candidates.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• At least 3 years of software QA experience focused on manual testing.
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC, release processes, test plans, and test cases.
• Hands-on experience testing iOS and Android mobile applications, web applications, backend services, and REST APIs.
• Familiarity with bug and test management tools such as Jira and TestRail.
• Strong analytical, communication, collaboration, and attention-to-detail skills.

Nice to have

• Understanding of basic automation concepts and tools such as Appium, Selenium, or Postman.
• Exposure to CI/CD and device testing platforms such as BrowserStack.
• Fintech or payments domain experience.
