Site Reliability Engineer (AWS)

Location: Budapest, Hungary; hybrid

Salary: HUF 1.8M–HUF 2.2M per month

What you will do

• Partner with engineering teams to automate and optimize service availability, scalability, performance, monitoring, and alerting.
• Develop software that reduces operational toil and keeps SaaS offerings highly available, scalable, and resilient.
• Build and maintain internal platforms and services that multiply the effectiveness of engineering teams.
• Develop methodologies for iteratively deploying cloud-based architecture.
• Build resilient, self-scaling systems and participate in the on-call rotation.
• Advance cloud automation while operating services on AWS.

Requirements

• Experience managing a 24/7 SaaS platform with high uptime.
• Experience with AWS, Google Cloud, or Microsoft Azure, with AWS preferred.
• Programming experience in Python, Go, TypeScript/Node, Java, or Ruby.
• Experience with Docker or container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes, ECS, or Mesos.
• Strong understanding of configuration management, automation, and infrastructure-as-code tools such as Ansible, Terraform, or Puppet.
• Exposure to CI/CD tools and strong communication skills in English.
