Underwriter II - Commercial (Technology)

What you will do

• Analyze commercial loan and transaction parties for creditworthiness, collateral strength, financial condition, risks, and mitigants.
• Prepare and recommend loan offerings using risk ratings and other credit scorecards.
• Provide recommendations on credit structuring and make or support credit decisions within assigned authority.
• Manage ongoing credit risk for assigned portfolios and complete relevant pre-approval and post-approval activities.
• Gather information from internal and external customers, resolve inconsistencies, and confirm regulatory requirements.
• Follow internal policies and procedures while managing customer-focused credit solutions and enterprise risk.

Requirements

• University or college degree, preferably a bachelor's degree; equivalent education, certifications, and experience may be considered.
• At least 2 years of relevant professional experience.
• Knowledge of credit analysis, underwriting, financial analysis, risk assessment, and credit decision-making.
• Strong accuracy, attention to detail, critical thinking, communication, and prioritization skills.
• Must be based in Dallas, Texas, for in-office work.
