Senior Materials Planner

Location: On-site in Grens, Vaud, Switzerland

What you will do

• Create production plans aligned with demand volumes and inventory strategy.
• Create and maintain work orders for in-house production, sterilization, and outsourced operations.
• Integrate material, supplier, sterilization, production-capacity, and shelf-life constraints into planning and proactively escalate gaps.
• Run alternative scenarios, quantify recovery impacts, and recommend mitigation plans based on customer and business priorities.
• Coordinate Quality, Manufacturing, Sourcing, Customer Service, and Distribution teams while leading follow-up on mitigation actions.
• Maintain ERP planning parameters and support engineering changes, new product introductions, transfers, and work projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college, or high school diploma/GED; a master’s degree is preferred.
• 8–10 years of experience in materials planning and execution.
• Fluent English and French required.
• Autonomous, rigorous, naturally influential, customer-oriented, and focused on continuous improvement.
• Experience with Oracle EBS and ASCP is preferred.

Nice to have

• APICS certification.
• Lean manufacturing experience.
• Medical devices experience and knowledge of ISO 13485.
