Freelance Platform Editor (Sports Streaming)

What you will do

• Curate, craft, edit, publish, and promote engaging sports content across the platform.
• Maintain the hirify.global app and ensure accurate delivery of metadata, highlights, and replays.
• Shape the app’s look and feel to improve the user experience.
• Develop content ideas and execute editorial plans for major events and sports rights.
• Own designated platform sections or major rights and report to the Chief Editor.

Requirements

• Strong ability to identify spelling and grammar errors.
• Ability to select compelling headlines from interviews that appeal to sports fans.
• Excellent knowledge of major sports and the OTT and sports broadcasting landscape.
• Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud.
• Strong experience working with a CMS.
• Availability to work in the United States in a hybrid workplace arrangement.
