Senior AQA Engineer (QA Automation)

Location: Fully remote, based in Argentina; locations listed are Córdoba and Buenos Aires

What you will do

• Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test cases, frameworks, and suites.
• Perform functional and manual testing when required.
• Analyze test results, investigate failures, identify root causes, and close coverage gaps.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to ensure banking product quality.
• Contribute to automation strategy, testing standards, planning, estimation, and quality discussions.
• Share technical knowledge and support QA team members without direct people management responsibility.

Requirements

• 5+ years of Quality Assurance experience, primarily focused on test automation.
• Strong hands-on experience with Python, Pytest, Playwright, and Git.
• Experience designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks and test suites.
• Knowledge of test planning, execution, defect management, software development lifecycle practices, and QA standards.
• Experience with banking processes and financial systems; Bantotal or a similar banking platform is required.
• Native-level Spanish and intermediate English are required.

Nice to have

• Experience scaling automation frameworks and integrating test automation with CI/CD pipelines.
• Agile/Scrum experience and familiarity with API testing tools.
• Experience mentoring QA team members and promoting quality practices.
• Exposure to performance or other non-functional testing.
