Operational Excellence Professional (f/m/d)

Location: Hybrid work in Germany, with locations listed in Erlangen, Berlin, and Kirchheim unter Teck.

What you will do

• Lead process improvement and cost-reduction projects across the Transformers factory network.
• Define project scopes, goals, deliverables, schedules, and execution plans with factory leadership and project sponsors.
• Facilitate cross-functional workshops and best-practice exchanges between manufacturing sites.
• Develop and maintain standard operating methods and coach colleagues in Lean and continuous improvement practices.
• Monitor KPIs and OKRs, analyze production and logistics processes, and implement data-driven improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Many years of experience in project execution, production, or logistics within a manufacturing environment.
• Lean training or certification and/or Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
• Expertise in Lean methodologies, Six Sigma tools, value stream mapping, process optimization, root cause analysis, and problem solving.
• Experience with project planning, workshop facilitation, stakeholder and change management, performance monitoring, and cost analysis.
• Very good communication skills in English and German.
