Student Finance Administrator (US Student Loans)

Location: Oxford Road, Manchester, United Kingdom. Applicants must demonstrate their right to work in the UK; the role is not eligible for Skilled Worker sponsorship. Hybrid working arrangements may be considered.

What you will do

• Administer University-funded schemes, including Hardship Fund and other funding applications, in line with guidance and allocated budgets.
• Administer loans for US students, including the US Loan Program, private US loans, and Veteran's Affairs benefits.
• Process refunds, investigate and resolve student loan queries, and communicate with current and prospective students.
• Prepare and submit bi-monthly enrolment reports to the National Student Loan Database System.
• Maintain student records, data quality, system records, reports, and related data protection processes.
• Coordinate team activities, stakeholder guidance, meetings, events, projects, and student finance enquiries within service level agreements.

Requirements

• Experience administering financial or student support schemes and processing applications.
• Knowledge of regulations governing the US Loan Program and private US loans.
• Knowledge of Veteran's Affairs benefits for US military veterans and/or their children.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and handle data in line with current data protection legislation.
• Ability to provide guidance, deliver customer service, and coordinate work across a collaborative team.
• Right to work in the UK is required; Skilled Worker sponsorship is not available.
