What you will do

• Define the thesis scope and research approach, and plan and deliver the agreed outcomes.
• Map data sources, information flows, and business processes across functions.
• Assess, cleanse, structure, and prepare business data for processing, comparison, and reuse.
• Identify gaps, duplication, and overlaps between departments and develop concepts for cross-functional knowledge sharing.
• Document methods, findings, lessons learned, and recommendations for continued implementation.

Requirements

• Master’s studies in industrial engineering and management, business administration, information systems, data science, engineering, or a related field.
• Understanding of organizational business processes and how knowledge and data create value across functions.
• Experience with process mapping, document management, databases, data cleansing, or data analysis through projects, internships, or coursework.
• Excellent Microsoft Excel skills; Microsoft Access or other database and data-processing experience is advantageous.
• Structured, proactive, curious, and analytical approach with the ability to turn findings into practical recommendations.
• Professional proficiency in spoken and written English is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with Microsoft Access or other database and data-processing tools.
• A thesis proposal outlining the intended outcomes, approach, capabilities, and techniques, limited to 500 words.
