Senior DevOps Security Engineer (DevSecOps)

Location: Athens, Greece; hybrid work model with 2 days working from home

What you will do

• Implement and maintain automated security measures within DevOps environments.
• Integrate security practices into the software development lifecycle in collaboration with development teams.
• Configure and manage firewalls, access controls, encryption, SSL/TLS, SSH, and IPSec security controls.
• Perform security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration testing, and support remediation.
• Monitor security systems, contribute to incident response, and apply corrective actions with DevOps and engineering teams.
• Share security best practices and stay current with emerging security tools and technologies.

Requirements

• Up to 3 years of experience in DevOps security or IT security roles.
• Strong understanding of firewalls, access controls, SSL/TLS, SSH, and IPSec.
• Knowledge of OWASP Top 10, PCI DSS, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, and ISO 27001.
• Experience with vulnerability scanners and penetration testing tools.
• Practical knowledge of DevOps principles, agile development, and continuous delivery pipelines.
• Legal authorization to work in Greece is required; resumes must be submitted in English.

Nice to have

• Exposure to secure coding practices such as input validation and output encoding.
• Basic knowledge of security incident identification and mitigation.
