Cyber Security Engineer

What you will do

• Support the design, implementation, deployment, and operation of managed cybersecurity services across Microsoft Sentinel, CrowdStrike, Securonix, and other cloud-native platforms.
• Configure and integrate SaaS security platforms, cloud services, APIs, agents, syslog, and customer data sources.
• Support Azure and AWS engineering activities involving identity, networking, security configuration, monitoring, and service integration.
• Troubleshoot cloud platforms, security tools, integrations, and network connectivity, while supporting upgrades, migrations, testing, and service acceptance.
• Produce technical designs, implementation guides, operating procedures, test plans, and knowledge articles.
• Collaborate with SOC, product, architecture, service operations, suppliers, customers, and delivery teams to improve security services, automation, and operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Experience in cybersecurity engineering, cloud engineering, security operations, infrastructure engineering, or a related technology discipline.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Azure and/or AWS, including cloud services, identity management, security controls, monitoring, and administration.
• Experience supporting, deploying, or operating SIEM, XDR, EDR, cloud security, or identity security solutions.
• Understanding of Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking, including TCP/IP, DNS, routing, switching, VLANs, firewalls, VPNs, and secure connectivity.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, workload management, communication, and stakeholder collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft Defender, CrowdStrike, CrowdStrike NG-SIEM, Securonix, or similar enterprise security platforms.
• Experience with managed security services, SOC environments, or large-scale enterprise security operations.
• Knowledge of threat detection, incident response, security monitoring, cyber threat management, and IAM technologies.
• Awareness of ISO 27001, NIST, CIS Controls, Cyber Essentials, or other security frameworks.
• Knowledge of AI, machine learning, or generative AI applied to cybersecurity operations, threat detection, automation, and security analytics.
