TL;DR
Social Video Producer (Short-Form Video/Photography): Creating vertical video and still photography from unmanned aerial systems test ranges, exercises, sites, and trade shows with an accent on fast-paced editing, strong hooks, and platform-specific delivery. Focus on filming engineers and operators, adapting horizontal footage for 9:16 formats, analyzing retention, and completing same-day edits when required.
Location: On-site in Gilching, Bavaria, Germany, with the option to work remotely one flexible day per week.

What you will do
- Shoot short-form vertical video at company sites, test ranges, exercises, and trade shows, primarily in 9:16.
- Capture still photography of hardware, engineers, operators, and events for LinkedIn and Instagram.
- Edit content for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and LinkedIn, including hooks, captions, cut rhythm, and platform-specific formats.
- Rework interviews, demonstrations, and event streams from horizontal footage into engaging vertical edits.
- Film engineers and operators on camera and turn creative briefs into finished social content.
- Organize, tag, and archive footage so it remains easy to find.
Requirements
- At least two years of experience shooting and editing short-form vertical video, with a portfolio showing both production and editing.
- Strong understanding of hooks, retention, loops, safe zones, captions, sound choices, and current Reels and Shorts trends.
- Professional experience with Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve, plus native editing tools such as Edits.
- Solid photography skills, including composition, lighting, and colour editing in Lightroom.
- Camera skills covering exposure, lavalier audio in windy conditions, handheld stability, and shooting for the edit.
- Class B driving licence and comfort working at rural test sites, hangars, uneven ground, and early trade-show setups.
Nice to have
- EU drone certificate A1/A3.
- Basic motion graphics skills in After Effects.
