What you will do

  • Lead daily purchasing activities for an assigned product or category group.
  • Review current supplier agreements and identify opportunities to improve pricing and commercial terms.
  • Lead contract renegotiation discussions with suppliers.
  • Partner with the business on new product development requirements and identify suitable suppliers.
  • Negotiate favorable supplier terms and drive purchasing process improvements.

Requirements

  • Experience managing purchasing activities for a defined category or supplier group.
  • Ability to review agreements and lead supplier negotiations.
  • Experience identifying suppliers for new product development.
  • Ability to recommend and implement process improvement strategies.
