TL;DR
Product Manager (Supabase Realtime) (developer tools/real-time systems): Owning the roadmap, developer experience, packaging, and pricing for Realtime capabilities including Broadcast, Presence, Postgres Changes, and future event-driven application features with an accent on scalable synchronization and developer workflows. Focus on analyzing product data, shaping real-time experiences for AI and collaborative applications, and aligning Engineering, Design, Pricing, Finance, Billing, and GTM.
Location: Remote, global; work from anywhere

What you will do
- Own the Realtime roadmap covering Broadcast, Presence, Postgres Changes, and future capabilities.
- Define problem statements, solution rationale, priorities, and the plan of record with Engineering and Design.
- Collaborate with developers and customers ranging from indie projects to enterprise applications.
- Own Realtime packaging and pricing with Pricing, Finance, and Billing.
- Use product data and instrumentation to understand developer behavior and prioritize improvements.
- Keep Product, Engineering, Design, and GTM aligned while shaping future real-time and AI application experiences.
Requirements
- 5+ years of Product Management experience in developer tools, or equivalent depth as a founder.
- Experience owning an application platform, feature, or framework where real-time functionality was central to the developer experience.
- Strong understanding of full-stack application development and current real-time and synchronization patterns.
- Comfort with Postgres, logical replication, architecture discussions, product instrumentation, and querying and cleaning data.
- Ability to work asynchronously, make decisions in writing, and move work forward without meetings.
Nice to have
- An existing audience among developers through social media, open source, or developer advocacy.
- Experience with sync engines, local-first or live-query products.
- Experience with gaming, AR, or collaborative-tool customers.
- Experience shipping a product using Supabase.
