TL;DR
Business Analyst (Client Solutions): Gathering and translating complex client business needs into technical specifications and analysis products for a high-visibility construction-industry implementation project with an accent on stakeholder alignment, requirements engineering, and delivery quality. Focus on managing client relationships, identifying and resolving risks across multidisciplinary workstreams, and ensuring solutions meet contractual requirements.
Location: Remote, with required travel to client offices in Virginia approximately monthly

What you will do
- Gather, document, and validate client requirements for a high-visibility construction-industry project.
- Translate business needs into clear technical specifications and analysis products.
- Support the technical delivery team in aligning solutions with client requirements and contractual obligations.
- Act as a primary contact for client stakeholders, providing proactive communication on status, risks, and outcomes.
- Identify, escalate, and drive resolution of risks and issues across multiple workstreams.
- Ensure the accuracy and completeness of business analysis deliverables.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar client-facing requirements engineering role.
- Experience in a boutique consulting firm or product environment with substantial client interaction.
- Demonstrated ability to gather and translate complex business needs into structured technical specifications and requirements.
- Strong client relationship management skills, including experience serving as a direct point of contact for key stakeholders and CORs.
- Experience working across multidisciplinary workstreams such as solutions implementation and workforce training.
- Excellent communication, risk management, initiative, and problem-solving skills in ambiguous environments.
Nice to have
- Experience in construction, infrastructure, or complex technical implementations.
- Background in a startup, boutique consulting firm, or product team.
