Senior Payroll Accountant (Fintech)

Location: Riga, Latvia; hybrid work model

Salary: €2,000–€2,800 gross per month

What you will do

• Run the full payroll cycle for approximately 300 employees in line with legislation and employment contracts.
• Manage employee benefits, bonuses, leave, and related payroll data.
• Prepare accounting, tax, and labour statistics reports on time.
• Enter remuneration and personnel data into the accounting system and control supporting documentation.
• Answer employee questions about salary and payroll processes.

Requirements

• More than 3 years of experience in bookkeeping and payroll accounting.
• Strong understanding of accounting, taxation, and labour law regulations.
• Excellent computer skills, including MS Office; experience with 1C8 is an advantage.
• Accuracy, attention to detail, responsibility, punctuality, and the ability to process data from multiple sources.
• Good interpersonal and collaboration skills.
• Good knowledge of English and Latvian.
