hirify.global's Digital Legends studio in Barcelona develops AAA gaming experiences and contributes to multiple Call of Duty titles.

What you will do

• Create high-quality animations, optimize them for technical constraints, and implement changes based on artistic direction.
• Set up and maintain animation workflows, select appropriate tools and techniques, and track developments in animation technology.
• Identify and communicate potential animation problems while collaborating with riggers and technical designers.
• Estimate and manage task timelines, conduct research, and create documentation to improve animation practices.
• Share knowledge, provide constructive feedback, and foster creativity across the team.
• Mentor and guide team members through best-practice sharing, 1:1s, performance reviews, and cross-functional communication.

Requirements

• Experience creating video game animations, preferably using Maya.
• In-depth understanding of movement in space, anatomy, and motion.
• Strong aesthetic sense and attention to detail.
• Ability to adapt to change and remain flexible and open-minded.
• Clear communication skills for receiving, seeking, and providing constructive criticism.
• Good spoken and written English.

Nice to have

• A strong portfolio based on personal work or non-NDA projects.
• Knowledge of game engines.
