Full Stack Software Engineer (Ruby on Rails/NextJS)

Location: Boston office, Central Square, Cambridge; hybrid attendance three days per week

Base compensation: $150,000–$225,000 annually plus equity options

hirify.global is building a consumer healthcare store that provides transparent cash and insurance prices for virtual and in-person visits, prescriptions, labs, imaging, and other care.

What you will do

• Build and scale a seamless consumer healthcare product.
• Improve the patient experience across healthcare shopping and care delivery workflows.
• Address operational challenges involved in delivering care at scale.
• Write product requirements, analyze feature performance with SQL, and own QA where needed.
• Collaborate closely with design, operations, and clinical stakeholders.
• Integrate with healthcare systems such as EHRs and revenue cycle management platforms.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience building web applications as a full-stack engineer.
• Proficiency with a modern infrastructure and programming stack.
• Experience with or ability to work with AWS, Ruby on Rails, and NextJS.
• Strong focus on technical excellence, product quality, and detail.
• Ability to work independently in an ambiguous environment and move quickly through engineering tradeoffs.
• Ability to work from the Boston office three days per week.
