Middle QA Engineer (Capital Markets)

What you will do

• Translate business and functional requirements into test scenarios, test cases, expected results, and traceability records.
• Execute functional, integration, regression, conversion, system integration, user acceptance, and end-to-end testing.
• Validate front-to-back capital-markets workflows covering trade capture, pricing, risk, settlements, collateral, messaging, and accounting.
• Prepare test data and perform data validation and reconciliation across source systems, trading platforms, and downstream applications.
• Validate interfaces, batch processes, scheduled tasks, reports, messages, and accounting outputs while tracking defects in Jira and Xray.
• Coordinate with technical, development, business-analysis, and functional teams on environments, defect resolution, regression testing, and readiness reporting.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience testing capital-markets or financial-services applications and understanding of front-to-back trade-processing workflows.
• Knowledge of financial products, trade lifecycles, software-testing principles, and testing methodologies.
• Experience with functional, integration, regression, conversion, end-to-end, system integration, and user acceptance testing.
• Strong data-validation and reconciliation skills, with working knowledge of SQL for test-data analysis and backend validation.
• Experience with Jira, Xray, or comparable test- and defect-management tools, including defect triage and resolution tracking.
• Intermediate English proficiency and clear written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience testing Calypso implementations and familiarity with front-to-back Calypso workflows.
• Experience with the Calypso Automated Testing Tool, Selenium, JUnit, or Cucumber.
• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with position-conversion or data-migration testing.
• Knowledge of SWIFT messaging, collateral management, accounting workflows, or regulated banking environments.
