Registered Nurse-Labor & Delivery Full Time Nights (Healthcare)

Location: 1000 N. Westmoreland, Lake Forest, Illinois, United States; full-time night shift

Salary: USD 34.50–55.20 per hour

What you will do

• Perform comprehensive assessments, develop and update nursing care plans, and document patient outcomes.
• Coordinate care with patients, families, physicians, and other healthcare professionals, including discharge planning and referrals.
• Provide patient and family education about medications, treatment, discharge instructions, and available resources.
• Deliver evidence-based nursing interventions and promote safe medication administration, bedside handoffs, and infection prevention.
• Lead or support patient care technicians, precept new staff and students, and coordinate unit care when assigned.
• Participate in quality improvement, safety initiatives, professional development, and clinical practice advancement.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), or an Associate Degree in Nursing with a commitment to obtain a BSN within three years.
• Current Illinois Registered Professional Nurse license required.
• Basic Life Support certification.
• Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and analytical skills.
• Ability to follow Illinois nursing regulations, organizational policies, and applicable healthcare standards.
