Clinical Nurse (Inpatient Dialysis)

Location: 251 E. Huron, Chicago, Illinois, United States. Full-time night shift.

Salary: USD 36.50–58.40 per hour.

What you will do

• Provide and coordinate clinically competent, evidence-based care for an assigned group of inpatient dialysis patients.
• Develop, implement, evaluate, and document individualized nursing plans of care.
• Advocate for patient safety, rights, cultural needs, and involvement of families and significant others.
• Educate patients, families, students, and team members while sharing clinical knowledge.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, delegate appropriately, and communicate accurate information during handoffs.
• Participate in professional development, quality improvement, innovation projects, and unit-based initiatives.

Requirements

• Graduate of an NLN-accredited school or college of nursing.
• Baccalaureate degree in Nursing or higher.
• Current Illinois Registered Professional Nurse license required.
• Basic Life Support CPR certification through the American Heart Association required.
• Analytical ability, effective oral and written communication, and strong interpersonal collaboration skills.
• Ability to use a keyboard to enter and retrieve data.

Nice to have

• Experience in the specific clinical area.
• Nursing specialty certification, if eligible.
