What you will do

• Drive technical and non-technical engineering-wide initiatives and measure their impact beyond individual teams.
• Enable autonomous engineers by removing blockers and creating conditions for effective decision-making.
• Hire, onboard, and develop engineers across multiple seniority levels.
• Set performance standards and address underperformance early and transparently.
• Drive adoption and effective use of AI agents across the engineering organization.
• Partner with product managers to deliver intuitive, reliable, and well-built user experiences.

Requirements

• 3+ years of engineering management experience in a product company; agency and outsourcing experience do not meet the requirement.
• Examples of independently initiated engineering or process changes driven end to end and measured across more than one team.
• Experience managing without intermediate team leads or architects, or removing that layer.
• Experience handling underperformance and developing senior-level engineers.
• Agentic AI is already part of daily work, with experience driving adoption beyond personal use.
• Fluent Russian is required.
