Senior Business System Analyst (FinTech)

Location: Remote or hybrid in Uzbekistan, with access to an office in Tashkent

What you will do

• Gather and analyze functional and non-functional requirements through workshops and stakeholder interviews.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications, user stories, epics, and use cases.
• Design integrations between core banking platforms, payment gateways, banking APIs, accounting systems, and regulatory platforms.
• Define dependencies and integration flows involving Humo, Uzcard, Paynet, Munis, Visa, and Mastercard.
• Create UML, DFD, ER diagrams, integration specifications, and architecture documentation.
• Identify transaction, security, and data-integrity risks and define fallback, redundancy, and recovery approaches.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in system analysis or a related role.
• Strong requirements elicitation, technical documentation, and stakeholder communication skills.
• Understanding of banking products, payments, cards, accounts, transfers, and financial-domain processes.
• Experience with REST, SOAP, webhooks, JSON, XML, and preferably ISO 20022.
• Knowledge of UML, DFD, ER modeling, Kafka, RabbitMQ or ESB integrations, and SQL/NoSQL databases.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher. Knowledge of OAuth 2.0, SSL/TLS, 2FA/OTP, PCI-DSS, tokenization, and encryption principles is required.
