HR Generalist (Automotive Manufacturing)

Location: Pécs, Baranya, Hungary; hybrid work environment with most office-based roles onsite three days a week. The position is a 24-month fixed-term contract.

Annual gross base salary: Ft 9,270,000–Ft 13,596,000. Variable compensation and allowances may also be available depending on the position offered.

What you will do

• Manage end-to-end recruitment, including job postings, candidate screening, hiring coordination, employment administration, offers, and workforce planning.
• Coordinate temporary staffing agencies and recruitment providers while maintaining related documentation.
• Support onboarding and orientation programs for new employees.
• Prepare employment contracts, job descriptions, amendments, employee lifecycle documentation, and accurate HR records.
• Coordinate transfers, organizational changes, exits, disciplinary documentation, exit interviews, and payroll data submission.
• Prepare HR reports, support audits and HR projects, and maintain compliance with company policies and IATF 16949 requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in an HR Generalist or related HR Operations position.
• Strong knowledge of recruitment, onboarding, employee administration, and employee lifecycle management.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with a confident and professional approach.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and HR systems.
• Professional working proficiency in English.
• Openness to learning new processes, systems, and technologies.
• Baseline familiarity with using AI to support efficiency, problem-solving, and quality.

Nice to have

• Experience in an automotive manufacturing environment.
• Experience supporting internal, customer, or certification audits.
• Familiarity with IATF 16949 quality management requirements.
• Experience managing staffing agency relationships and workforce planning.
• Experience participating in HR process improvement or cross-functional HR projects.
