Senior Project Manager (Payment Systems)

hirify.global is delivering projects for a publicly traded global payment-processing leader serving hospitality, entertainment, stadium, e-commerce, and other businesses.

What you will do

• Plan, coordinate, and track delivery for a blended engineering team involving hirify.global and client-side developers.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies and delegate routine coordination to team leads where appropriate.
• Assess workflows, identify bottlenecks, and implement measurable process improvements.
• Own and improve Jira workflows, boards, dashboards, automation rules, and reporting standards.
• Drive adoption of AI tools such as Claude and design automation for reporting, ticket triage, and recurring operational updates.
• Define efficiency metrics, report progress to stakeholders, and mentor team leads.

Requirements

• 5+ years of Project Management experience on Agile projects using Scrum and/or Kanban.
• Experience leading AI adoption or productivity improvement initiatives.
• Background in the payments domain and experience transforming delivery processes.
• Advanced Jira expertise, including workflows, automation, dashboards, and reporting.
• Experience managing distributed or cross-functional teams and collaborating with client-side members.
• Upper Intermediate English (B2) or higher, including client communication, stakeholder reporting, and project documentation.

Nice to have

• Experience establishing an AI-Driven Development Lifecycle with AI integrated into planning, development, testing, and delivery.
• Familiarity with Jira Automation, Zapier, n8n, and Python.
• Experience with DORA, cycle time, throughput, and other delivery performance metrics.
• PSM, PMP, SAFe, or similar Agile and project management certifications.
