Junior Android Developer (Fintech): Developing a mobile banking application with secure transaction processing, real-time cashback tracking, and partner API integrations with an accent on Kotlin, scalable Android architecture, and application security. Focus on implementing financial flows, optimizing performance and stability, and integrating analytics, backend services, and external financial APIs.

Location: Minsk, Belarus; onsite, remote, or hybrid work available

What you will do

  • Design and develop scalable Android features for a mobile banking application.
  • Implement secure transactions, cashback logic, real-time tracking, and integrations with payment, geolocation, partner, and financial APIs.
  • Build and maintain the application architecture using modern Android best practices.
  • Monitor crashes, performance, analytics, and application stability while improving the user experience.
  • Collaborate with backend, QA, and product teams to deliver features end to end.
  • Participate in code reviews, maintain coding standards, mentor team members, and improve documentation and development processes.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of Android development experience with Kotlin.
  • Strong knowledge of Android fundamentals, application lifecycle, OOP, and MVVM or MVI architecture.
  • Experience with Jetpack Compose and/or the traditional View/XML system.
  • Experience with Kotlin Coroutines, Flow, REST APIs, serialization, Room or other Android storage solutions, and dependency injection with Hilt, Dagger, Koin, or an equivalent tool.
  • Experience writing unit tests, basic UI testing knowledge, Git, and basic CI/CD knowledge.
  • English at Intermediate+ level; ability to implement defined features independently and collaborate with the development team.

Nice to have

  • Experience with Firebase and Google Analytics for user behavior tracking and feature optimization.
