Analyst in Investment Banking (AI WealthTech)

Location: Hybrid in Almaty, Kazakhstan — 3 days in the office and 2 days remotely

What you will do

• Develop and maintain financial models for company valuations and investment opportunities.
• Conduct financial due diligence and assess potential transactions.
• Analyze industries and markets to identify trends and investment opportunities.
• Prepare client presentations, pitch materials, business plans, and strategy research.
• Support business development, identify new client opportunities, and negotiate with third parties within the authorized scope.
• Support portfolio companies and venture capital initiatives while ensuring the accuracy of all deliverables.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
• 2–6 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, asset management, M&A, or financial consulting.
• Advanced quantitative and numerical skills with proficiency in financial modeling and interpretation.
• Expertise in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills in English and Russian.
• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, ethical standards, and the ability to draw actionable conclusions from research and data.
