Product Manager (Auth)

What you will do

• Own the authentication and authorization experience for developers, including login, passkeys, MFA, enterprise SSO, OAuth 2.1, auth hooks, organizations, and multi-tenant applications.
• Define problem statements, solution rationale, and the plan of record for the Auth roadmap.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Design to shape developer experiences and prioritize solutions.
• Define authentication capabilities for AI agents, including agents acting on behalf of users and calling APIs.
• Use product data and customer feedback to identify adoption barriers, user problems, and priorities.
• Align Product, Engineering, Design, Security, and GTM on roadmap decisions and delivery.

Requirements

• 5+ years of Product Management experience in developer tools, or equivalent depth as a founder.
• Experience shipping standards-based authentication or identity products, including OAuth/OIDC, SAML, SCIM, sessions, or token design.
• Ability to work with both enterprise security stakeholders and developers.
• Comfort with architecture discussions, design trade-offs, Postgres, and row-level security.
• Experience working asynchronously and making decisions in writing.

Nice to have

• Ownership of authentication or identity within an integrated cloud platform.
• Experience launching organizations, tenancy, or SSO and SCIM from start to finish.
• Experience designing authentication for agents or automated systems, including OAuth for MCP clients, machine-to-machine credentials, or scoped tokens.
• Experience shipping a product using Supabase.
