Project Manager, PMO (Leased)

Location: Hybrid role based in North America, with regular travel of approximately 25–50% to active data center project sites and possible extended site assignments.

Base salary: $120,000–$200,000 USD per year, plus potential bonus, equity, and/or commission programs.

What you will do

• Lead and mentor project-level Cost Managers, Schedulers, and Planners while maintaining output quality and assigning work.
• Develop and maintain project control baselines covering WBS, cost breakdown structures, budgets, and integrated schedules.
• Run earned value analysis and integrate cost and schedule data into progress, productivity, variance, and completion forecasts.
• Prepare weekly and monthly reports and dashboards for Project Directors and senior project controls leadership.
• Administer change control, risk management, contractor oversight, payment application reviews, forecasts, accruals, cash flow, and capitalization.
• Capture lessons learned and improve project controls standards, templates, and systems.

Requirements

• 10+ years of project controls experience on large construction or capital projects, including at least 3 years in a lead or management role.
• Experience with mission-critical or complex facilities such as data centers, power generation, substations, or advanced manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of CPM scheduling, cost control, earned value management, and change management.
• Ability to interpret and challenge contractor schedules, cost reports, progress claims, and payment applications.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Primavera P6 is required; experience with cost management, risk analysis, reporting, Excel, and Microsoft 365 tools is expected.

Nice to have

• Hyperscale or colocation data center experience, including MEP-heavy and phased delivery.
• AACE certification such as PSP, CCP, or EVP, or PMP certification.
• Owner-side or owner’s representative project controls experience.
• Experience establishing controls for a new project or growing organization.
