Data Architect

Location: Hybrid in Bosnia & Herzegovina, Serbia, North Macedonia, Colombia, or Brazil

What you will do

• Research, design, and execute comprehensive data strategies aligned with client business goals.
• Establish data governance policies and procedures covering data quality, security, compliance, and privacy.
• Build and lead virtual teams of data scientists, analysts, and engineers.
• Drive the implementation of modern data architectures, platforms, integrations, monitoring, and reporting.
• Partner with client stakeholders to use data to improve business processes, products, and services.
• Develop data value propositions, present data capabilities in sales activities, and expand organizational data capabilities.

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience in data-related roles.
• Experience with AWS and/or Azure and technologies including Databricks, Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric, Apache Spark/PySpark, Python, and SQL.
• Senior leadership experience implementing data strategies and global big data platforms.
• Advanced degree in computer science, information management, business analytics, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of data governance, compliance, privacy, security, data mesh, and data fabric.
• Exceptional communication, strategic thinking, and cross-functional leadership skills.

Nice to have

• Data-related certifications in AWS and Azure environments.
• Familiarity with multiple business domains.
