TL;DR
Director, AI Data Architect (AI): Designing AI-ready data models, semantic layers, and governed data products for international commercial data with an accent on dimensional modelling, semantic search, unstructured data enrichment, and agentic AI consumption. Focus on building retrieval architectures, knowledge graphs, readiness frameworks, and certified data assets while resolving complex cross-source integration challenges.
Location: Greece – Thessaloniki, Chortiatis; hybrid

What you will do
- Define and evolve AI data readiness frameworks, assessment criteria, remediation roadmaps, and reusable enablement standards.
- Design dimensional, analytical, semantic, and knowledge graph models for reliable human analytics and AI or agentic consumption.
- Architect semantic search and retrieval solutions using embedding pipelines, vector storage, hybrid retrieval, and governed enterprise data.
- Translate business and AI use cases into target-state data architectures and production-ready data products.
- Lead architecture reviews, create decision records and reference architectures, and coach engineering and market teams without direct people management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or analytics engineering as a senior individual contributor.
- Deep expertise in dimensional, normalized, and analytical data modelling, including grain and surrogate key strategies.
- Hands-on experience with AI-ready data products, semantic layers, unstructured data enrichment, metadata, and enterprise data catalogues.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, Snowflake, AWS or Azure, dbt, Airflow, and GitHub Actions.
- Strong English communication skills and the ability to work across global time zones.
Nice to have
- Experience with LLM and agentic data access, retrieval-augmented generation, vector databases, hybrid search, and retrieval evaluation.
- Experience with graph databases, knowledge graphs, GraphRAG, and enterprise master data management.
- Experience with Tableau, Power BI, Streamlit, regulated environments, or healthcare data such as EMR and claims.
- Advanced degree or Snowflake, AWS, or Azure professional certification.
