Quality Assurance Engineer II (AI)

What you will do

• Develop and maintain test strategies, test plans, test cases, test data, and traceability for new features and defect fixes.
• Write automated tests for web applications, REST APIs, and data-validation workflows.
• Integrate and maintain automated test suites in CI/CD pipelines, quality gates, and release validation processes.
• Execute manual functional, regression, integration, system, exploratory, and UAT testing where automation is not appropriate.
• Validate multi-tiered, data-driven applications processing large volumes of records and track quality metrics.
• Document and manage defects, perform root-cause analysis, support deployments, and troubleshoot customer-reported issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Typically 5–8 years of relevant experience, including 5+ years in software quality assurance or quality engineering.
• Experience with manual testing across web, API, database, and enterprise applications.
• Experience with Playwright, Selenium, Robot Framework, or similar automation tools, plus Java, Python, or C# scripting.
• Experience integrating test frameworks with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI/CD, or similar platforms.
• Knowledge of API testing, SQL and database validation, Agile/Scrum, defect management, root-cause analysis, troubleshooting, and test management tools such as JIRA or Zephyr.

Nice to have

• Experience using Copilot, Cursor, Gemini, ChatGPT, or Claude for test generation, automation, defect analysis, requirements review, CI/CD optimization, or QA productivity improvements.
