2D Pixel Artist (GameDev)

hirify.global develops games and is hiring a 2D Pixel Artist for its Art Division.

What you will do

• Create pixel art assets for characters, props, environment elements, backgrounds, tilesets, and modular game components.
• Follow approved visual styles, references, color palettes, scale, level of detail, and asset dimensions.
• Prepare artwork for game integration according to technical requirements.
• Create frame-by-frame animations for characters, objects, and visual effects.
• Polish assets to final quality based on Art Director feedback and maintain consistency across asset types.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of professional experience as a Pixel Artist or in a similar role.
• Portfolio demonstrating pixel art, preferably created for games.
• Strong understanding of form, composition, perspective, color, lighting, and shading.
• Ability to create expressive silhouettes and convey volume and materials with a limited number of pixels.
• Strong command of contours, pixel clusters, limited color palettes, and consistent visual style.
• Proficiency in Aseprite, Photoshop, or a similar tool, plus experience with frame-by-frame animation.
