Middle/Senior Backend Engineer (Web3)

Location: Remote worldwide; flexible schedule from 10:00–19:00. The role is associated with hirify.global locations in Moscow and Perm, Russia, while employment is arranged globally through a local entity or EOR.

What you will do

• Develop Go backend services using go-ethereum and ethkit for Ethereum interactions and RPC integration.
• Build services for NFT marketplaces, smart wallets, orderbooks, and on-chain settlement flows.
• Integrate ZK Stack infrastructure, EraVM, system contracts, and L1–L2 communication.
• Implement ERC-4337 account abstraction, paymaster logic, session keys, transaction monitoring, and smart contract interaction layers.
• Develop multi-chain event scanners with reorganization handling, finality tracking, indexing, caching, and real-time WebSocket updates.
• Design BFF services, APIs, tests, and production monitoring for complex blockchain operations.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of commercial Go development experience.
• Strong knowledge of MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Redis, distributed systems, microservices, and message queues such as NATS, RabbitMQ, or Kafka.
• Experience designing REST APIs with OpenAPI/Swagger and working with Docker, Git, and GitLab CI/CD.
• Understanding of Ethereum or EVM integration, RPC nodes, smart contract bindings, transaction lifecycles, gas estimation, and nonce management.
• Ability to build resilient, high-load backend systems and troubleshoot blockchain-specific production issues.
• Experience with Kubernetes is preferred for container orchestration.

Nice to have

• Experience with ZK Stack or ZKsync Era, including EraVM, system contracts, bridging, finality, and reorganization behavior.
• Knowledge of ERC-4337, bundlers, paymasters, session keys, delegated permissions, and account abstraction infrastructure providers.
• Familiarity with EIP-712, ERC-1271, WebAuthn/passkeys, ERC-20/721/1155, ERC-7579, ERC-6900, ERC-7710, and ERC-7715.
• Experience with DeFi concepts, NFT marketplace mechanics, and blockchain event processing.
