Associate Staff Engineer - Data Analyst

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain production-grade dashboards and reports in Tableau and Power BI.
• Analyze manufacturing, operational, and financial data to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities.
• Write SQL queries in Snowflake for data extraction, transformation, validation, and ad-hoc analysis.
• Collaborate with data engineers on reporting requirements and dbt staging and mart models.
• Document data definitions, metric calculations, and dashboard usage guides.
• Train and support business users in adopting self-service analytics.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in a data analyst, BI analyst, or reporting analyst role.
• Strong proficiency in Power BI and/or Tableau, including calculated fields, LOD expressions, DAX measures, parameters, dynamic filters, row-level security, and performance optimization.
• Working knowledge of SQL and Snowflake, including JOINs, CTEs, window functions, aggregations, and basic data transformation.
• Understanding of data modeling concepts, including star schemas and fact and dimension tables.
• Portfolio of dashboards and reports delivered to business stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Ability to read and modify dbt models, understand staging and mart layers, and run dbt commands for testing and documentation.
• Basic Python skills for data wrangling, automation, or analytics workflows using pandas and notebooks.
