Product Safety & Compliance Engineer

What you will do

• Evaluate marketplace data and consumer events to identify product safety risks.
• Conduct product- and region-specific risk assessments for new product development projects.
• Support certification projects for legacy product changes and coordinate with certification partners.
• Lead design reviews at key project milestones.
• Present project status, risks, and technical information to stakeholders at all organizational levels.
• Support executive review updates and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a similar technical discipline.
• At least 2 years of compliance or design experience with consumer or commercial electromechanical products preferred.
• Entry-level knowledge of regulatory standards and governmental regulations.
• Familiarity with hazard analysis tools such as DFMEA and FTA preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, shifting priorities, and complex technical details.
• Ability to work independently, communicate complex technical information clearly, and collaborate across teams in the United States and China.
